2019-20 Academic All-Big Ten Honors: Fall / Winter
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Eighty-nine Purdue student-athletes that compete during the spring sports season have been recognized as Academic All-Big Ten honorees.
After having a record 84 student-athletes named during the fall seasons and another 61 mentioned in the winter season, a total of 234 Boilermakers were named Academic All-Big Ten during the 2019-20 academic year. Student-athletes are required to be at least sophomores, boast a 3.0 GPA and enrolled at their university for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible for the award.
Ian Hunter and Megan Slamkowski of the track & field program earned special mention for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
During the 2018-19 academic year, a total of 210 student-athletes were named Academic All-Big Ten.
