ADA Entrances

All entrances to Mackey Arena are ADA accessible. An elevator for fans with access to Wooden Club is available inside the Atrium/Hayes Family Athletic Ticket Office entrances. Nearby attendants can provide guidance.

Single-Game Exchange Process
Beginning at 9 a.m. the day of each home game (or 9 a.m. on the Friday before a Saturday or Sunday game), ticketholders may call the ticket office to request an exchange of their existing seat(s) for accessible seating.

Accessible seating may include low-mobility seats, which require a ticket holder to navigate 1-4 stairs, and wheelchair spaces, which are intended solely for individuals who use a wheelchair or similar mobility device and cannot navigate any stairs.

The ticket office processes requests in the order they are received and will discuss possible seating options with each caller.

Exchanges are made for existing seats into wheelchair accessible or low-mobility seats in Mackey until capacity is reached. Once capacity is reached, no further exchanges are able to be accepted.

OPENGATE

As of the 2025-26 season, Purdue Athletics implemented OPENGATE entry systems to all of its venues to improve fan security and efficiency.

OPENGATE reduces the need to search bags manually through its detection system. Fans will walk through two pillars that automatically screens bags, purses and other items on their person. If additional screening is deemed necessary by security personnel, fans will be asked to step aside so they can be screened manually to ensure safety.

OPENGATE is an addition to the entry procedure at Purdue Athletics events; the current clear bag policy remains in place.

Cashless Venue

Mackey Arena is 100% cashless. Concessions and merchandise stands will NOT accept cash. Please note, there is no option to convert cash to card.
