With the power that comes with being a Boilermaker, our student-athletes can activate the full, wide-reaching, transformative power of their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL).

Boiler BrandWorks, our in-house student-athlete marketing and brand-building team, is here to help. The mission of this unit is to work directly with student-athletes to develop their personal brands and source meaningful NIL partnerships with donors, alumni and businesses -- both locally and nationally.

The Boiler BrandWorks team connects interested companies and organizations with the Purdue student-athlete population, and oftentimes, a specific Boilermaker. These commercial partnerships are what the world of Name, Image and Likeness is all about: use your platform. The proverbial stage Purdue puts its teams on has landed Boilermakers on t-shirts, hoodies and trading cards, on podcasts, studio tours and sound stages, and yes, even souvenir soda cups at Mackey Arena.

Life as a Purdue student-athlete comes with many built-in personal and professional growth opportunities. Media attention, interviews, fan interactions and public appearances all do their part in boosting the visibility of our Boilermakers.

In the world of brand-building, opportunities are afforded to Purdue student-athletes ahead of their respective sport seasons. These photoshoots and video sessions help our Boilers in many respects, as well as the double-duty of giving the athletics department a supply of collateral to use while publicizing and marketing the season ahead.

Content created from within these sessions help student-athletes lean into their personal brand, gain comfort in front of a camera and provide collateral that will be utilized by Purdue's departmental staff to tell the story behind the team.
