Tanner Lipsett

Tanner Lipsett joined the Purdue wrestling staff in 2019, and took on a full-time role as supervisor of operations in the fall of 2022. From 2019-22, Lipsett served in a hybrid role with communications and operations for the wrestling program. In addition to his duties with travel, logistics and scheduling, Lipsett has an active role with on-campus recruiting and recruiting communication with prospective student-athletes.

Lipsett came to West Lafayette in 2006 as an assistant sports information director, and was promoted to associate director of strategic communications in 2011. He spent seven seasons as the primary communications contact for Purdue wrestling, and has also worked with the Boilermakers' women's basketball, women's golf, cross country, track & field and football programs.

Prior to Purdue, Lipsett spent three years at Amherst College (Massachusetts), serving as sports information director in 2005-06, and in an assistant role from 2003-05.

A native of Manteca, California, Lipsett earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Grinnell College (Iowa) in 2002, where he was a four-year member of their men's basketball program.
