Pitched in 12 games, making seven starts
Served as Purdue’s Sunday starter each of the first four weekends, resuming the role he excelled at in early 2020
Returned to the rotation for the finale of the Champaign pod weekend in April as well as the final two weekends of the season
 Struck out 10 of the 20 batters he faced in his season-opening start vs. league champion Nebraska
 Joined an elite list at Purdue by striking out at least half of the batters he faced (minimum 5 Ks)
Helped Purdue rack up 46 strikeouts in 32 innings vs. Nebraska, a program record in a four-game series
Set the tone on the mound with three innings of one-hit ball as the offense broke out early in the April 19 win at Illinois

Impressed vs. North Carolina with six-plus innings of one-hit ball, striking out five for the second week in a row
Worked five innings of one-run ball vs. Villanova to help lead Purdue to victory in the championship game of the Campbell Invitational
Earned his first collegiate win with five innings of one-run ball at Western Kentucky
Started game 2 of the season-opening series vs. Hofstra, becoming Purdue’s first true freshman to debut as a starting pitcher during the opening weekend since 2013
Walked three and did not strikeout a batter over three innings of two-run ball in his debut, but found his comfortable level soon after while issuing only three walks over 11 innings of one-run ball in his next two starts
Was the only Boilermaker to start on the mound each of the four weekends
