Former Boilermakers continued to make headlines as the regular season winds down, as eight alumni saw action around the league in Week 17.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. hit the 1,000-yard rushing milestone on Sunday with the New York Giants. The rookie tallied 20 carries for 59 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards in the win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Tracy currently has the fifth-most all-purpose yards of any rookie in 2024, with 1,118 total yards in his breakout first season.

"Furious George" Karlaftis wreaked havoc once again for the Kansas City Chiefs, who are now 15-1 after a dominant 29-10 road win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.

The star pass rusher notched two solo tackles, including a sack, two quarterback hits and a pass breakup. The Chiefs had him mic'd up throughout the game.

Quarterback Aidan O'Connell again stepped up big for the Las Vegas Raiders in his second game back from injury.

The second-year pro completed 20 of 35 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Raiders to a 25-10 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Payne Durham recorded the first touchdown reception of his career, a five-yard dot from Baker Mayfield in the third quarter of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 48-14 rout of the division rival Carolina Panthers.

In addition to his first score as a pro, Durham also posted a new career high of 36 yards on two receptions.

Like O'Connell, Cory Trice Jr. of the Steelers also played in his second game since returning from an injury. He posted three solo tackles and a pass breakup in the loss to the Chiefs.

Raheem Mostert contributed in his supporting role for the Miami Dolphins as the team fights for the final wild card spot in the NFL Playoffs. He logged six carries and two receptions for 16 yards in a win at the Cleveland Browns.

Jalen Graham was again elevated from the 49ers practice squad and totaled two tackles against the Lions. Sanoussi Kane also made a solo tackle in the Baltimore Ravens' win against the Houston Texans.

The Pro Boilers went 6-2 around the league in Week 17. Former Purdue players are a combined 59-49 this season when active in a game.
