WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – June brings with it the sights and scents of summer. Baseball weather in all its glory also arrives with summer. Purdue baseball players continue to play the game they love throughout the summer as collegiate summer leagues resume their full schedules this year.
Returning and incoming players are slated to represent the program in the second season – wood bat summer leagues from Cape Cod to California. Most of the league started as early as possible this season in late May or June 1. Cade Hohl hit for the cycle as part of a 4-for-4 night for the O'Fallon Hoots in a Prospect League game on May 29.
