• Played in 21 games and made 15 starts at catcher
• Suffered a broken hamate bone in his wrist in game No. 2, but returned 10 days ahead of schedule on April 9
• Finished the season as the starter, starting the final 10 games and batting a team-best .353 in May
• Hit safely and drove in a run in both Big Ten Tournament games

• Also played in all three games of the road series at Maryland
• Singled and walked in his two plate appearances as a pinch hitter
• Recorded an RBI single vs. Iowa and at Michigan State
• Walked and scored twice as the starter in game 3 of the Minnesota series
• Walked twice and executed a sac bunt in the finale of the Michigan series
BEFORE PURDUE
• Played his first two collegiate seasons at Riverside Community College in the Los Angeles area
• First-team All-Orange Empire Conference performer in 2019
• Registered a .330/.443/.588 slash line with 15 extra-base hits and 32 RBI in 33 games as a freshman
• In 20 games before the shutdown in 2020, batted .333 with six extra-base hits, 20 RBI and a .441 OBP
• Summer ball all-star in 2019 while playing for the Ridgefield Raptors of the West Coast League
