HIGH SCHOOL
• Lettered for coach Mike Sheppard at Seton Hall Prep in the Newark area
• Two-year starter as an infielder and leadoff hitter
• Made varsity as a sophomore but broke his thumb and missed the season
• All-County and All-Conference as a senior while serving as a team captain
• Batted .388 with a .512 slugging percentage, eight XBH, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 23 stolen bases as a senior
• Connected for a leadoff home run in a semifinal game of the NJSIAA state tournament
• Helped lead Seton Hall Prep to a 22-2 record (10-0 in conference) as a senior, winning the conference title while also repeating as county champions
• Seton Hall Prep featured 20 players committed to playing college baseball at the NCAA level
• Stole 19 bases during his junior season
• Also played varsity ice hockey as a junior

• Dad was a three-year starter at catcher for Purdue (21 career HR), serving as a team captain as a senior in 2000; Third Team All-Big Ten in 1999 after leading the team with a .352 average and 43 RBI
