BEFORE PURDUE
• Workhorse as a four-year letterwinner at NAIA Huntington University near Fort Wayne, earning 20 wins while pitching 256 innings over 59 appearances (39 starts)
• All-American and 2023 Crossroads League Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore in 2023
• First Team All-Crossroads League in 2023 and 2024
• Went 8-1 with a 2.84 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 94 strikeouts in 82 1/3 innings during his All-American campaign
• Strikeout rate improved to 11.0 K/9 (94 K in 77 IP) as a senior
• Pitched six complete games for three consecutive seasons from 2023 to 2025 to finish his Huntington career with 18 in 39 starts
• Went 7-3 with a 3.31 ERA and 1.23 WHIP as a repeat first-team all-conference performer as a junior
• Among the most improved nationally from his freshman to sophomore seasons, finding his command after issuing 31 walks in 26 innings as a reliever in 2022
• Walk rate dropped to 3.17 walks per nine innings – plus a 3.06 strikeout-to-walk ratio (248 K vs 81 BB) – for the remainder of his Huntington career
• Played summer ball in the Northwoods League (Kalamazoo Growlers, 2024 & 2025) and Prospect League (Lafayette Aviators, 2023)
• Threw seven no-hit innings for the Aviators in 2023 to earn Prospect League Pitcher of the Week honors

HIGH SCHOOL
• Lettered for coach Nick Byall at Homestead High School on Fort Wayne’s southeast side
• Also played football all four years
• Helped lead Homestead to conference titles in football and baseball during his senior year (2020-21)
• Part of an undefeated freshman baseball team in the spring of 2018
