2023 / AS A SOPHOMORE
Pitched in 14 games, making midweek starts against Butler, Miami (Ohio) and UIC
• Struck out a season-high five of the 10 batters he faced over two innings of one-run ball in the final of the NJIT series
• Did not allow a run over his next five appearances, working a combined 5 2/3 innings of one-hit relief in those outings
• Did not issue a walk until April 4, opening the season with nine consecutive innings over seven appearances without a base on balls
• Retired all four batters he faced on 12 pitches in the nightcap of the doubleheader at Michigan State during the opening weekend of league play
• Struck out four while giving Purdue 3 1/3 innings of one-run relief after the series opener with Penn State got out of hand, helping to set the stage for a series win when the Boilermakers swept a doubleheader the next day
• Worked a hitless eighth inning in the series finale at Maryland after Purdue scored twice in the top of the frame
• Pitched four innings of one-hit relief over four appearances in March, allowing just two base runners
• Escaped a bases-loaded jam in the finale of the Akron weekend to help Purdue clinch a series victory
