WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Four Pro Boilers were active, with four on a bye week, as the NFL moved through Week 8 of the 2026 season.
George Karlaftis had his most productive game of the season with 1.0 sack, 1.0 tackles-for-loss, a forced fumble and three passes defended against the Broncos. It was the first time in his career with at least three passes defended in a game.
Karlaftis ranks sixth in the NFL with 16 quarterback hits, while PFF has him ninth with 37 total pressures generated. Showing his versatility, Karlaftis is the only player this season with at least 26 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 6.0 tackles-for-loss, eight passes defended, one interception and one forced fumble.
Payne Durham had his highest usage of the season with 42 offensive snaps, including 40 run blocking, to help the Buccaneers defeat the Falcons 16-0 in a torrential downpour. The Buccaneers made NFL history by winning a game without any pass completions.
Durham's role in the victory returned the fourth-highest offensive grade on Tampa Bay this week (79.4), and the 40 run blocking snaps eclipsed his career high by 10.
