WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue women’s basketball team will wrap up non-conference action on Sunday with a noon tip against Jackson State at Mackey Arena.

The game will be streamed on B1G+ with the radio call on 95.3 BOB FM on the Purdue Global Radio Network.

The Boilermakers were off in the midweek for finals, after knocking off Dayton 80-43 last Sunday. The 43 points allowed were the fewest given up by a Purdue team in the last five seasons. Freshman Hila Karsh led Purdue with 17 points, as the Boilermakers knocked down 10 3-pointers for the second straight outing.

Purdue is 7-0 at Mackey Arena this season, outscoring opponents by 28.1 points per game. The Boilermakers have shot 50% from the floor and connected just shy of nine 3-pointers per game at a 40% clip, while dishing out 19 assists per night.

GAME NOTES

• Purdue and Jackson State have not met before Sunday.
• Jackson State is the 218th unique opponent for the Boilermakers and the fourth first-time opponent this season. 
• Purdue's win over Dayton marked the third victory of 35 points or more this season, its most since 2010-11. 
• Defensively, Purdue has held four opponents to 50 points or fewer over the opening 11 games of the year, the most by a Boilermaker squad since the 2017-18 team recorded seven. 
• The Boilermakers held back-to-back opponents under 50 points for the first time since 2016. 
Hila Karsh found her scoring touch with back-to-back games in double figures with 10 and 17 points, respectively, while shooting 59% from the floor and 50% from distance. Karsh sits third on the team in scoring at 10.4 points per game and ranks fourth among Big Ten rookies.

• Purdue has averaged 73.6 points per game in non-conference action this season, which ranks fourth most by a Purdue roster over the last 25 years. Three of the top five averages from the last 25 seasons have come in the last five years.
Tara Daye notched her fourth double-double of the year against Dayton, ranking second among Big Ten guards. Daye, UCLA's Kiki Rice and Washington's Avery Howell are the lone guards from the Big Ten to average better than 11 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, three of the eight guards from a major conference nationally. 
• Purdue is tied for third in the Big Ten with five Boilermakers having recorded 10 or more steals this season, led by Madison Layden-Zay's 16.  
• Layden-Zay continues to inch up the 3-point leaderboard, sitting 16 shy of Karissa McLaughlin's all-time record of 244. Next up on the list for Layden-Zay is Katie Gearlds in third place, 10 triples away. 
Kiki Smith leads the team with 11.5 points per game, after reaching double figures in three of the last four games. The junior is third on the team in made 3-pointers with 18 on the year.
