2025-26 / AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR
• Lone Boilermaker to play in and start all 30 games
• Led the team in scoring and rebounding at 12.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, respectively
• Shot 47.2% from the floor and 34.1% from behind the arc on 15 triples
• Dished out 73 assists and recorded 37 steals
• Posted 21 games in double figures with three 20-point performances

• Appeared in and started first four games of the season
• Averaged 6.0 points and 4.5 rebounds with 2.0 steals and 1.3 assists per night

• Made 31 appearances and 19 starts for the Johnnies during her sophomore campaign

2022-23 / AS A FRESHMAN (AT DEPAUL)
• Appeared in 27 games for the Blue Demons, making one start
• Averaged 11.8 minutes, 1.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game
• Shot 42.3 percent from the floor
• Named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week (Feb. 6)
•Added a season-high 10 points at Creighton (Feb. 1)
• Dished out 12 assists against Xavier, the highest single-game total by a DePaul player during the 2022-23 season

PREP
• A three-sport letterwinner in volleyball, track and basketball at University High School
• Two-time NJSIAA state champion in basketball in 2017-18 and 2018-19
• All-State honoree during the 2018-19 season after averaging 16.5 points and 7.6 boards per game
• Scored 1,129 points in four seasons at University High
• Took the 400m sectional title twice in track

• Vangela played basketball at Rutgers-Newark, graduating in 1994, and amassed 1,541 points, 848 rebounds and 252 steals and was named the Rutgers-Newark Female Athlete of the Year in 1994. She was inducted into the Rutgers-Newark Hall of Fame in 2006.
