WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The NFL progressed through week six with a season-high eight former Boilers in action during the slate.
Payne Durham led the NFL in week six with a 95.0 run blocking grade, according to PFF, in the Buccaneers' 30-19 victory over the 49ers. His 88.7 offensive grade was the best by a Tampa Bay player.
Two Pro Boilers, Derrick Barnes and George Karlaftis, faced off on Sunday Night Football when the Chiefs took a 30-17 victory over the Lions. Barnes held an advantage in tackles over Karlaftis with four total. Three of Barnes' tackles came in the fourth quarter. Karlaftis produced two tackles and played 87-percent of the defensive snaps to assist Kansas City to its third consecutive victory.
