ABOUT GAMEDAY
• No. 20 Purdue and No. 22 Michigan will meet for the third time this season in Friday's Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
• The two teams have split this year, with Purdue winning in Mackey Arena on Jan. 24 (91-64), while Michigan returned the favor in the Crisler Center on Feb. 11 (75-73). 

THE KEY NOTES
• Purdue is aiming for its fourth straight Big Ten Tournament semifinals appearance, reaching the finals in 2022, and winning the title in 2023. A year ago, Purdue fell to Wisconsin in the semifinals in overtime, 76-75.
• Purdue enters the Michigan game having won three of its last four contests. Over the last four games, Purdue is shooting 51.7 percent from the field (122-of-236) and 43.4 percent from 3-point range (43-of-99), averaging 83.0 points per game.
• In two games this year against Michigan, Braden Smith is averaging 24.0 points and 8.5 assists and has 17 assists against just one turnover in 77 minutes of action. Trey Kaufman-Renn has 37 points in 54 foul-plagued minutes and Fletcher Loyer is averaging 16.5 points per game. The trio has combined to average 59.0 points per game between them. 
• In the win over USC, Purdue had nine first-half turnovers, but just one in the second half. 
• Purdue has won nine of its last 11 games in Gainbridge Fieldhouse and has won seven of its last nine games in the Big Ten Tournament.
•    Trey Kaufman-Renn tied a career high with 30 points and had seven rebounds and two assists. Kaufman-Renn is now 21st on Purdue's single-season points scored list with 642 points, but needs just 35 points to move into the top 15, and 56 points to move into the top 10. 
•    Kaufman-Renn is now averaging 20.1 points per game on the season. Over the last four games, he is averaging 26.0 points per game. He has 16, 20-point games, two off the league lead (Martinelli, 18). He has at least 20 points in 11 of the last 14 games.
•    Trey Kaufman-Renn and Braden Smith are the first Purdue teammates to each have at least two 30-point games in the same season. Kaufman-Renn scored 30 points against both Wisconsin and USC, while Smith surpassed 30 points against both Toledo and Iowa.
•    Braden Smith scored 12 points with nine assists, three rebounds and a steal. Smith now has 518 points, 281 assists, 148 rebounds and 74 steals on the season. Smith needs just two rebounds and and one steal to become the second player in NCAA history with 500 points, 275 assists, 150 rebounds and 75 steals in a season, joining Georgia Tech standout Kenny Anderson on the list. 
•    Braden Smith has 726 assists in his career, needing just five assists to move into the top five in career assists by a Big Ten player. His 726 assists are the seventh most by a player in NCAA history through the end of his junior season.
• When Purdue holds opponents to 69 or fewer points, the Boilermakers are 12-0. When foes score 70 or more points, Purdue is just 10-10. 
• The duo of Trey Kaufman-Renn and Braden Smith is averaging a combined 36.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 11.0 assists per game, becoming the first tandem since California's Jason Kidd and Lamond Murray in 1993-94 to average a combined 35.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists in a season.
• The trio of Trey Kaufman-Renn, Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer have combined for 1,611 points (50.3 PPG) - the sixth-highest points total for a trio in Purdue history.
• Camden Heide had nine points (3-of-3 from 3-point range) with a career-high 11 rebounds in 30 minutes of action. Over his last six games, Heide is 7-of-9 (.778) from 3-point range.
• When Fletcher Loyer makes at least three 3-pointers, the Boilermakers are 13-0 this season, going 3-of-7 vs. USC.
• The senior class (consisting of Caleb Furst) has won 114 games, the seventh most by a senior class in Big Ten history.
