2025-26 / AS A SENIOR
• One of the top 3-point shooters in the country, Loyer ended a sensational career at Purdue averaging 14.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as a senior, starting all 39 games.
• Shot 45.0 percent from the field, 43.2 percent from 3-point range and 87.4 percent from the free throw line.
• Tied a school record with Braden Smith for most games played (149) and started (149) and set the school record for career 3-pointers made with 309. Also finished 11th on Purdue’s career scoring list (1,829) and fifth on the career free throw percentage list (.846).
• Ended his season with multiple 3-pointers in 19 straight games – a new school record.
• Scored in double-figures 29 times during the season, including a career-high 30 points in the season opener against Evansville.
• Purdue posted a 26-3 record when Loyer scored at least 10 points. When held to single-digit scoring, Purdue was 4-6.
• Posted 30 games of four or more 3-pointers, helping Purdue to a 28-2 record in those games during his career.
• Ranked second in the Big Ten with 112 made 3-pointers, the second most in a season in Purdue history. Led the Big Ten in 3-point percentage at 43.2 percent.
• Averaged 15.6 points, 2.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds in eight postseason games, going 27-of-56 (.482) from long distance.
• Scored 24 points on just seven shots in a 79-69 win over Miami, Fla., in the NCAA Tournament second round.
• Loyer is one of four players in Big Ten history to score at least 1,800 points, dish out 300 assists, make 300 free throws and 300, 3-pointers in a four-year career (Shawn Respert, Talor Battle, Joe Crispin).
• Loyer was also one of four players in Purdue history to score at least 375 points in all four seasons.
2024-25 / AS A JUNIOR
• Loyer had another outstanding season, starting all 36 games and averaging 13.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
• Shot 44.4 percent (75-of-169) from long distance to lead the Big Ten and rank 11th nationally in 3-point percentage. Shot 46.5 percent from the field and 84.8 percent from the free throw line.
• Surpassed 10 points 29 times during the year and had four 20-point games, including a season-high 24 points in a road win at Minnesota.
• Made at least three 3-pointers 14 times during the season, including a career-high seven triples in a blowout win over Rutgers. Purdue went 14-0 when he made three or more 3-pointers in a game.
• Averaged 13.0 points and 3.0 assists per game in the NCAA Tournament, making 12-of-15 from the free throw line and five 3-pointers in the three games.
• Surpassed 1,000 career points in the road win at Rutgers on Jan. 9.
• Tallied 21 points in the season-opening win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
• Made five 3-pointers in a win over No. 21 Michigan on Jan. 24 and went 5-of-6 from deep in a home win over Nebraska.
• Connected on at least two 3-pointers in eight straight games from Feb. 4 to March 4.
• Yanked down a career-high seven rebounds in a big home win over Maryland.
• Scored 17 points (5-of-9 FGs) in a home win over No. 2 Alabama.
• Tallied 20 points at Indiana and enters his senior year averaging 14.2 PPG in six games against Indiana (11-of-23 3Ps).
• Scored in double-figures in 13 of the first 14 games of the season.
• His 197 career 3-pointers are the 10th most in school history. Ranks 33rd on Purdue’s career scoring list.
• Has started all 110 games during his career.

2023-24 / AS A SOPHOMORE
• Loyer had another strong season as a sophomore, starting all 39 games and averaging 10.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 44.4 percent from 3-point range and 86.1 percent from the free throw line.
• Ranked 14th nationally in 3-point percentage and seventh among high-major players that made at least 60, 3-pointers. Finished the year 63-of-142 (.444).
• Made 33-of-68 (.485) from long distance in conference play, the 11th-best mark nationally and tops in the Big Ten. The total was fourth among high-major players.
• Was one-of-10 players nationally to shoot at least 44.0 percent from 3-point range, make 50 trifectas and shoot at least 85.0 percent from the free throw line.
• Had 19 games with at least two 3-pointers, helping Purdue to a 17-2 record in those games. Had five triples against No. 1-ranked Arizona, went 4-of-4 from deep at Indiana and made three trifectas in the Final Four win over North Carolina State.
• Buried a huge 3-pointer in overtime against Northwestern to help Purdue to a 105-96 win. Also added 16 points, most in the second half, of a big win at No. 12-ranked Illinois late in the season.
• Averaged 12.5 points, 2.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds against nationally-ranked teams, shooting 39.0 percent from long range and 88.9 percent from the free throw line.
• Went 19-of-33 (.576) from 3-point range in the last 11 games of the year.
• Scored a career-high 27 points against both No. 1-ranked Arizona and No. 7-ranked Tennessee (Maui Invitational). Was named Big Ten Player of the Week following the win over Arizona. Also had four steals and three assists in the win over the Wildcats.
• Scored at least 10 points 21 times during the season, helping Purdue to a 19-2 record in those games.
• Grabbed six rebounds in the Maui win over No. 7-ranked Tennessee to go along with his 27 points. Dished out six assists against No. 20-ranked Utah State in the NCAA Tournament second-round win. Added five assists in wins at Rutgers and Illinois.
2022-23 / AS A FRESHMAN
• Recorded an outstanding freshman season, ranking second on the team in scoring (11.0 PPG) and assists (2.4 APG). He and classmate Braden Smith started all 35 games in the backcourt for the Boilermakers, en route to honorable mention All-Big Ten honors.
• Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week a school-record three times and was named Big Ten Player of the Week once after scoring 27 points in a win over Nebraska in mid-January.
• Ranked fourth among Purdue freshmen all-time in points scored (384), seventh in scoring average (11.0), 10th in field goals made (124), third in 3-pointers made (59), fifth in free throw percentage (.794), 10th in assists (85), first in games started (35) and fifth in minutes played (1,010).
• Tallied 17 points in the season-opening victory over Milwaukee, making a freshman-school record five 3-pointers.
• Netted 20 points with eight assists and no turnovers in the home win over Minnesota.
• Scored 18 poins with four 3-pointers in the Phil Knight Legacy-title game victory over Duke.
• Scored 22 points and took over the game late in an overtime victory over Nebraska that propelled Purdue to the No. 1 ranking a week later.
• Then scored 27 points in a home victory over Nebraska, making a freshman-school record six trifectas.
• Scored or assisted on 16 of Purdue’s final 18 points over the final 5:35 in a big road win at Michigan State.
• Owned an assist / turnover ratio of almost two to one (85 / 43; 1.98).
• Had 16 games of two or more 3-pointers, helping Purdue to a 13-3 record in those games.
• From Nov. 25 to Dec. 17, averaged 15.6 points and 3.6 assists.
• In the Phil Knight Legacy games against nationally-ranked opponents Gonzaga and Duke, averaged 16.0 points and 2.5 assists, while shooting 7-of-14 from long range.
• In five games against ranked teams, Loyer averaged 13.8 points and 1.8 assists, while shooting 13-of-31 (.419) from long distance.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Named Indiana’s Gatorade Player of the Year following his senior season.
• Loyer had a sensational season for Homestead, setting the school’s single-season scoring record (726) while making 73, 3-pointers and a school-record 179 free throws. He averaged 26.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, leading Homestead to the regional semifinal. He is the only player in Homestead history to have two seasons of 600 or more points.
• Loyer finished his career with 2,163 points (803 at Clarkston High School in Michigan; 1,360 points at Homestead) and over his final two seasons at Homestead, accumulated 272 rebounds, 212 assists and 113 steals in just 53 games.
• Won the national High School 3-point Championship in New Orleans following his senior year.
• A top-100 recruit, Loyer led Homestead High School to a 25-1 record and a No. 1 ranking in Indiana as a junior.
• Moved to Fort Wayne from Clarkson, Michigan, before his junior year.
• Brother, Foster, played at Michigan State before transferring to Davidson before this season. Foster was Michigan’s Mr. Basketball in 2018, while Fletcher was the runner-up.
• Was named second-team All-Peach Jam in 2020, the elite AAU Tournament nationally during the summer.
• Scored a school-record 50 points in a December 2020 win over Marion High School.
• An elite shooter, Loyer averaged 24.4 points, 4.5 assists and 4.9 rebounds as a junior at Homestead. Shot 44.9 percent from long range and 90.3 percent from the free throw line.
• Chose Purdue over offers from Nebraska, Michigan, Notre Dame, Utah and Missouri.
• Averaged 22 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a sophomore at Clarkson High School (Mich.) as a sophomore.
PERSONAL
• Majoring in organizational leadership.
• Son of John and Kate Loyer.
• His father, John, is a scout for the Los Angeles Clippers and also served as the interim coach of the Detroit Pistons in 2014.
• His grandfather, Al McFarland, played for the Boilermakers in 1964 and his mother, Kate, was a standout athlete at McCutcheon and later served as an assistant coach with the Purdue volleyball program.
• Brother, Foster, was a Michigan Mr. Basketball selection and played three years at Michigan State before transferring for his final two years to Davidson. Foster is now working in the Brooklyn Nets organization.
• Sister, Jersey, is a member of the Butler volleyball team.
