EAST LANSING, Mich.  —  The Boilermakers (22-28, 5-15) split the day at Michigan State (14-29, 4-16) with a 4-2 victory and a 0-4 decision. With the results, the Spartans took the series, 2-1.

Alex Echazarreta earned the win in the circle after a complete-game performance which saw six strikeouts, tying yesterday's showing as her Big Ten season-best.

Four Boilermakers crossed home: Jade Moy, Tyrina Jones, Kyndall Bailey and Summer Scarmardo. As a team, Purdue out-hit Michigan State, 11-6.

The game-winner came off the bat of Kiara Dillon, who singled up the middle to score Kyndall Bailey.

In the opening game of the day, the Boilermakers were out-hit, 0-5.

One weekend remains in the regular season, with Purdue hosting Penn State at Bittinger Stadium. With Space Day on Friday at 5 p.m. ET, Purdue will be giving away special Purdue Space-themed flags. Saturday's 2 p.m. ET matchup will be the Mental Health Awareness game in addition to Boilermaker Kids Club Game. Then, on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, the team will honor the seniors on Senior Day.
