After rallying from a double-digit deficit in the first half, the Boilermakers could not keep pace with No. 17 Michigan in the second half on Tuesday night at Mackey Arena, falling 80-59. The Boilermakers were led by Madison Layden's 16 points with a quartet of 3-pointers. Jayla Smith added 14 points, while Caitlyn Harper scored 10 points, hitting double figures for her fifth straight game.
