The Boilermakers will go for the season sweep of the Badgers, after winning the Big Ten home opener on New Year's Eve 72-61. Karissa McLaughlin and Dominique Oden shared the load offensively with 42 combined points, as Purdue shot 48.1% from the field. During the game, Ae'Rianna Harris took over Purdue's career record for defensive rebounds.
Kayana Traylor and Fatou Diagne have broken out of recent slumps with solid outings against the last few games. Traylor gave the Boilermakers a spark against Iowa with a career-high 21 points, including 15 in the second half. Diagne had career outings in back-to-back games. The Senegal international dropped a career-high 11 points at Michigan, before hauling down a career-best 14 rebounds against Iowa.
