Carson Barrett

Carson Barrett enters his second season on the Purdue Basketball staff as a grad assistant, after spending the last four seasons as a member of the Boilermakers.

Barrett will be responsible for opponent scouting, film breakdown, helping with individual workouts and administrative duties as he enters the collegiate coaching ranks.

Last season, the Boilermakers reached the Sweet 16 with a 24-12 record. With Barrett on the roster and staff, he has been a part of five NCAA Tournament appearances, two Big Ten titles, a National Championship game appearance and three trips to the second weekend and beyond.

Barrett was part of a class that set a school record with 110 victories, reached the National Championship game, played in four NCAA Tournaments and won two regular-season and one Big Ten Tournament title.

During his career, Barrett appeared in 28 games, scoring 17 points with 16 rebounds and five assists in 57 career minutes.

Barrett’s father, Dave, played at Purdue and is a long-time head coach at Lafayette Central Catholic High School.
