The Purdue Football Legends are likenesses of four Boilermaker greats: quarterbacks Drew Brees and Bob Griese, halfback Leroy Keyes, and defensive back Rod Woodson. They make appearances during home football gamedays as well as at other events.
During the 2017 and 2018 seasons, the Purdue Football Legends took part in a race at Ross-Ade Stadium at the end of the first quarter. Keyes came from behind to win the inaugural race Sept. 23, 2017.
