Boilers Land 6 on All-Big Ten Teams, Anderson Tabbed Forward of the Year

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue landed six All-Big Ten honorees as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, including the Big Ten Forward of the Year in Jaiden Anderson.

Anderson was also named to the All-Big Ten First Team, and was joined by Megan Santa Cruz and Irene Campo on the Second Team, and McKenzie Carle and Tanna Schornstein on the Third Team. Lauren Adam was also tabbed this year’s Sportsmanship honoree.

Anderson etched herself into the Purdue record book this season, becoming the program’s all-time single season scorer with 18 goals in regular-season play. The junior also earned her first-career Big Ten weekly honor this year, being named the Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals in Purdue’s victories over Northwestern and rival Indiana.

Anderson was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team in 2025 while at USC, but this is the first-career First Team honor for the Huntington Beach native who is currently second in the country in both goals scored and total points, while leading the Big Ten in both categories. Purdue’s last Big Ten Forward of the Year was Sarah Griffith in 2021, and Anderson became the fourth Purdue player to receive the highest offensive honor.

Santa Cruz earned her second-career All-Big Ten honor after being the Sportsmanship honoree in 2025. She has set career-high in goals scored (9), assists (6), and points (24) and is tied for third in the conference in goals. The senior was a member of the 2023 Pac-12 All-Freshmen Team and was named the No. 84 player in this year’s TopDrawer Soccer midseason rankings.

Campo earned her second-career nod on the All-Big Ten Second team for the second-consecutive season. The senior tied her career-high in assists (6) and also sits tied for third in the conference for goals (9). Campo is not new to postseason honors as she was the 2024 Sunbelt Offensive Player of the Year and a United Soccer Coaches All-American.

Carle and Schornstein each earned first-career Big Ten nods on the third team.

Carle has eight goals on the year with four assists, tying her career-high. The 2024 ASUN Freshman of the Year and a first team honoree a year ago, Carle has made a statement in her first year in the Big Ten.

Schornstein, who has played on three different Big Ten teams, notched her first honor this season, helping Purdue to a 15-2-2 record on the backline, allowing just 17 goals, while also recording two goals and two assists.

Adam joins as the third first-time honoree this year, as Purdue’s Sportsmanship honoree. The senior joined Schornstein on the backline helping Purdue to 0.880 GAA, while also recording two assists.

Purdue will take on No. 6 seeded Penn State in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. est.
