WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue erupted for four first-half goals and held on for a wild 6-5 upset victory over No. 21 Michigan Thursday night at Folk Field. Purdue now holds a six-game unbeaten streak in conference, the longest in program history.

Purdue struck first in the 12th minute when Jaiden Anderson finished a chance assisted by Irene Campo and Megan Santa Cruz for her 12th goal of the season, tying her for fourth in the single-season record book. Anderson doubled the Boilermakers' advantage just under six minutes later, scoring in the 18th minute off an assist from McKenzie Carle to give Purdue a 2-0 lead, now cementing her as tied for third in single-season goals with 13.

The Boilermakers continued their offensive pressure in the 29th minute, with Addison Feldman scoring her first goal of the season in the 30th minute, also her first collegiate goal. Zoe Miles then assisted Emilia Deppe on a goal, which was also the first of Deppe’s career.

Michigan responded quickly after the break, scoring three times in the opening 21 minutes of the second half.

Purdue answered in the 73rd minute when Rosa Maalouf found the back of the net off assists from Deppe and Feldman, restoring the Boilermakers' two-goal advantage at 5-3. Michigan then scored again to bring it back within one, but Santa Cruz then converted a penalty kick to put Purdue ahead 6-4.

Michigan made it a one-goal match once again just 14 seconds later. Purdue's defense held from there, with Grace Miller making a save in the 90th minute to preserve the victory.

Krystina Wolf played 81 minutes and made two saves while earning the victory, improving to 11-1-1 on the season. Miller played the final nine and made one save.
