WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue scored twice in the final 28 minutes to rally past Nebraska, 2-1, on Friday night at Folk Field to close out the regular-season with a victory.

The Boilers broke the single-season record for goals set in 2007 with their 66th, en route to earning their ninth Big Ten victory on the season, the most in program history. The Boilermakers improved to 15-2-2 overall and 9-2-1 in Big Ten play with the win, tying their most wins in a single-season since 2021.

After a scoreless first half, Nebraska took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick by Ella Guyott in the 54th minute. Purdue responded with a penalty kick of its own when Irene Campo converted in the 63rd minute to even the score at 1-1. The goal was Campo's ninth of the season, becoming the third Boiler to have nine or more goals on the season.

The Boilermakers continued to press for the go-ahead goal, with Jaiden Anderson putting several shots up in the second half. Purdue broke through in the 86th minute when Anderson finished a pass from Rosa Maalouf in the 86th minute, scoring her 18th goal of the season and giving the Boilermakers a 2-1 advantage.

Purdue held Nebraska without another goal over the closing minutes to secure the comeback victory. Miller played all 90 minutes and made three saves.

The Boilers will await the finish of the other matches around the Big Ten to find out their seed for the upcoming Big Ten tournament.
