Anderson Earns Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue’s Jaiden Anderson earned her first-career Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor after helping Purdue to a perfect 2-0 week and breaking the school’s single-season goals record.

Anderson scored three goals for six points in the victories over rival, Indiana, and Northwestern.

In the 5-0 victory against rival Indiana, helping to win back the Golden Boot for the first time since 2021, Anderson scored her fifth brace of the season.

In the 3-1 victory over Northwestern, Anderson’s goal sealed the victory, and also earned her place in the record book, passing Sarah Griffith (16 goals, 2021) for Purdue’s all-time single season goals record.

Anderson leads in the conference in goals and points and is second in the nation in total goals.

Anderson and the Boilers will take Nebraska on Friday, Oct. 30, for its final Big Ten regular-season match of the year.
