CINCINATTI – In the second week of the fall season, the Purdue women’s tennis team traveled four to the UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational, where Gabrielle Davydov, Jennifer Florea, Aleksandra Kyselova and Kathryn Wilson competed.
Florea and Wilson went 2-0 as a doubles pair behind a matching set of 6-3 victories. Meanwhile on the singles side, Davydov secured a 6-3, 6-3 victory while Florea’s match went unfinished after 2-6, 6-3 (10-5) results.
Tomorrow, the Boilers will be back in action in Cincinnati while Ece Gencer begins competition in Cary, North Carolina, for the ITA All-American Championships. Gener’s play will begin at 1 p.m. ET.
