Stacey Clark Classic Returns to Holloway

HONORING THE LATE STACEY CLARK

• The Stacey Clark Classic is in its 10th year at Purdue, named after Stacey Clark, a longtime close friend of the program. An incredibly positive and kind individual, she was a close supporter for the student-athletes and coaches before she passed away from pancreatic cancer. The final home non-con tournament of the season was renamed after Stacey in her honor (the 2020 season did not have a tournament due to COVID-19 conference-only schedule, played in spring 2021).
• Purdue owns a 23-1 record in the Stacey Clark Classic, its lone loss coming last season to #23 Georgia Tech in four sets - a team in which Mimi Mambu played for a year ago as a freshman.

TOP OF THE BIG TEN

• Purdue leads the league in blocks/set and ranks #8 nationally with 2.90/set.
• Offensively, Addy Tindall is #2 in the Big Ten in points/set (4.48), #3 in the Big Ten in kills/set (4.16) while Mimi Mambu is 4th (3.79).

TOURNAMENT TEAMS AT A GLANCE

UALBANY

• The Great Danes have played a fair share of Power 4 programs already, opening the season vs. Iowa in which the squad picked up the second set 29-27. Additionally, the squad played Syracuse, losing in straight sets. Purdue will be the first ranked opponent faced.
• UAlbany's offense is primarily run through Pinar Erol (3.23 kills/set) and run a two-setter offense with Addy Bianchini (6.88 assists/set) and Madison Hess (7.13/set).

UCF

• The Golden Knights have dropped just one match this season, and enter the week on a three-match winning streak. Like Purdue, they have not dropped a set during their last three matches, and most recently picked up a win vs. Virginia. In total, UCF has only dropped five sets.
• The squad is #3 in the nation in hitting %, #7 in blocks/set, #11 in opponent hitting % and #12 in kills/set. They are led by setter Abby Schomers and outside hitter and 2025 All-America Honorable Mention Avah Armour. Both are in their fourth year with the Knights. This season, Armour averages 4.83 points/set. The squad's libero, Alexa Haley, averages over four digs/set while opposite Natasha Casey posts 1.74 blocks/set, is second on the team in kills/set (2.46) on a .385 clip and ranks #4 in the nation in aces (24).

TOP-10 TAKEDOWNS

• In every season for the last 12 years, Purdue has picked up at least one top-10 victory. In fact, Purdue's won 22 top-10 showdowns since 2015.

LAST WEEK AT A GLANCE

• The Boilers went undefeated, posting a 3-0 record while not dropping a single set.
• Purdue was crowned the champions of the Paradise Invitational after picking up gutsy sweeps vs. Houston and #8 SMU.
• Purdue led the Big Ten last week, averaging 3.22 blocks/set.
• The Boilers allowed just 35 points vs. IU Indy, the second-fewest points allowed in a match in Purdue history since the rally scoring era began.
• Purdue is the only team in the NCAA to go undefeated on international soil (2-0 record).
  Kate Hansen had a breakout week, averaging a team-leading .367 attack %.
• The Boilers made history, not only playing in the first NCAA match ever to be played outside the United States, but also the first program to earn a win.
• The Boilers picked up their first top-10 win of the season with the sweep vs. #8 SMU. It also marked the 12th consecutive year the program picked up a top-10 win.
