The Boilers started hot, plating three runs in the first two innings.
Polar led off the game with a single to center, which was followed by a walk from Anna Moore. On an errant throw from the Badgers, Polar came around to score the first run of the game.
On another walk to Haley Painter, and a perfectly executed sacrifice bunt from Khloe Banks, the Boilers made it a two-run first before a line out ended the frame.
The Boilers added another run in the top of the third, with another leadoff single from Polar. Moore followed it up with a single of her own, before drawing the throw to second, getting caught stealing, but allowed for Polar to score from third.
Julia Gossett fired 5.0 no-hit innings before the Badgers secured their first on a diving effort from Banks in center. The Badgers went on to tie the game in the fifth, with just their second hit of the game, on a three-run shot to left.
Wisconsin went on to win the game on a walk-off hit after an error and a walk put two runners aboard.
Purdue closes out the season with its most wins since 2019, and its most Big Ten wins since 2024.
