WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Baseball closes out the month of March and its busiest stretch of the season – 10 games in 14 days – with the front end of the annual midweek home and home with Indiana State, visiting Terre Haute for a night game Tuesday.
First pitch at Bob Warn Field is set for 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Boilermakers were victorious in Terre Haute last season for the first time since 2018, winning their midweek opener behind a breakout game from Aaron Manias (4-for-5, 3 2B, HR, 8 RBI). He carried the momentum into a big series at Minnesota (5-for-12, 2B, HR, 5 RBI) and won Big Ten Player of the Week honors for his 13-RBI week. A little over a year later, it’s Brandon Rogers that is coming off a 13-RBI week is the reigning Big Ten Player of the Week.
Purdue has posted a 7-2 record since March 18 and is 12-5 in the month of March. A victory Tuesday would be the Boilers’ 20th of the season overall and mark the second year in a row they reached the 20-win plateau before April. Purdue has not won at least 13 games in a month since the 2012 Big Ten championship team went 14-3 in April (and 15-3 in March). The Boilermakers have a dozen wins in a month for the second time under head coach Greg Goff.
