AT A GLANCE
- The Boilermakers (2-4) return to Schwartz after taking a bye-week last week, hosting Ball State (4-2) in a Friday afternoon battle, that was rescheduled after snowstorms forced a postponement in January.
- Purdue sophomore Ece Gencer entered the ITA singles rankings for the first time in her career, checking in at No. 117. She boasts an undefeated record at 6-0 this spring, including two victories over ranked opponents, all coming at the No. 1 position for the Boilermakers.
- Kathryn Wilson owns the second-most wins on the team with three this spring.
- In the fall, the Boilermakers faced the Cardinals during the Purdue Invite, with Purdue coming out on top in both doubles matches (Emmi Kolyszko/Ece Gencer def. Asia Ting Fontana/Anya Tkachyk: 6-4, and Ida Clement/Kayal Gownder def. Jemima Williams-Phillips/Noa Kosman: 7-6[3]). Meanwhile in singles, Clement defeated Asia Ting Fontana: 6-2, 7-6(3) and Kayal Gownder def. Jemima Williams-Philips: 2-6, 6-4, 6-0.
