BONITA BAY, Fla. – The Purdue women's tennis team won four singles matches out of the seven total contests against Colorado on the final day of the Bonita Bay Classic.
Playing her final match ahead of her NCAA Singles Tournament appearance, Carmen Gallardo Guevara rolled to a 6-4, 6-0 win over Pia Rebec. Juana Larranaga continued her run of form with a straight sets win over Ema Bubalo 6-0, 7-5.
Ece Gencer and Kathryn Wilson won their singles contests in two sets with matching scores of 7-5, 6-2. Gencer downed Anya Nelson, while Wilson bested Willow Gertsch.
The Bonita Bay Classic concluded the Boilermakers' fall schedule with the exception of Gallardo Guevara's bid to the national championship, which starts Nov. 18 in Waco, Texas.
