WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women's basketball team is set for its 10-day European Tour, its first under head coach Katie Gearlds. The Boilermakers will venture to Spain and Portugal from Aug. 5 to 15 with visits to Barcelona, Spain, as well as Porto and Lisbon, Portugal.
The Boilermakers will play three games, one in each city, during their time in Europe. The trip will be the first foreign tour and third international trip under head coach Katie Gearlds.

There will be no live streams or live stats during the European Tour.
After departing out of Chicago O'Hare International Airport and landing at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona El-Prat Airport, Purdue will spend four nights in the Catalonian capital, including its first game against the Barcelona All-Stars on Aug. 8.
Following a four-night stay in Barcelona, the Boilermakers will head to Porto for the next two nights. Purdue will face Colegio Luso Internacional do Porto on Aug. 11.
The final stop will be a three-night trip to Lisbon. The Boilermakers will square off against Lombos Basketball in the Portuguese capital on Aug. 13.
The three games throughout the 10-day tour will offer the new-look Boilermakers a chance to grow together. Purdue enters the season with a 14-player squad of seven newcomers and seven returners.
Sophomores Rashunda Jones and Sophie Swanson featured heavily in the rotation during their first season in West Lafayette with 14.9 combined points per game. Redshirt freshman Amiyah Reynolds will make her Purdue debut this season, after missing last season due to injury.
Jayla Smith, Alaina Harper, Mila Reynolds and McKenna Layden will look to build upon their roles from last year.
Purdue welcomed in a quartet of graduate transfers in All-MAC selection Reagan Bass, WAC Defensive Player of the Year Destini Lombard, four-time NAIA All-American Ella Collier and Mahri Petree.
The freshman trio of Jordyn Poole, Kendall Puryear and Lana McCarthy will see their first action for Purdue during the overseas journey.
