URBANA, Ill. – The Purdue Boilermakers (19-18, 6-4 Big Ten) extended their winning streak to seven consecutive victories with their 3-0 shutout at Illinois (15-22, 2-8 Big Ten). With the result, freshman Julia Gossett secured her second complete-game shutout of the season.

Meanwhile, the catcher went on to score after her second double, thanks to a single by Alivia Meeks. It was Ross' second run scored this season.
