ROSEMONT, Ill. – After accounting for five of the Purdue Divers' seven event victories during the home-opening weekend, Daryn Wright and Max Miller teamed up for a sweep of the Big Ten Diver of the Week honors.

Wright was recognized for the second week in a row and third time in her career. Miller claimed his first honor following weekend No. 2 of his college career.

Wright swept the springboard events Saturday at the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiate and was also victorious on 1-meter in Friday's home opener vs. UIndy. Miller won on 3-meter Friday and 1-meter Saturday.

THE LAST TIME…
Purdue Swept the Big Ten Diver of the Week awards: November 2019 (Emily Bretscher, Greg Duncan)
A Boilermaker won Big Ten Diver of the Week in consecutive weeks: Greg Duncan (October 2019)
Purdue Women won Big Ten Diver of the Week in consecutive weeks: January 2014 (Casey Matthews, Michelle Cabasol)

Miller moved into 13th place in team history on 1-meter with a Purdue season-high list score of 375.15. It took the 10th-highest score in team history on 3-meter to keep Wright from a 4-for-4 weekend sweep on the springboards. Sophie McAfee (356.95) bested her in Friday's event as the Boilermakers finished 1-2-3-4.

Miller was the runner-up in both events he did not win over the weekend. Classmate Holden Higbie won on 3-meter Saturday as both first-year Boilermakers posted their first collegiate wins during the home-opening weekend. Miller's winning score on 3-meter (389.95) Friday was a personal season-best.

Wright's consistency was evident with her weekend scores – 306.70 and 300.70 on 1-meter, 338.65 and 335.95 on 3-meter. She swept the springboard events Saturday for the second time this season and fourth time as a Boilermaker.

Purdue returns to action the weekend of Nov. 3-4 when it hosts Oakland and the Rutgers women for a two-day dual meet at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.
