LAST TIME OUT  
In front of a sold-out Mackey Arena, the Boilermakers came up short against No. 4 Indiana, 69-46. The Boilermakers trailed by five at the break, before the Hoosiers pulled away in the second half. Lasha Petree paced Purdue with 13 points, and Abbey Ellis joined her in double figures with 10.

NOTES  
• Purdue trails the all-time series with Rutgers 7-8.
• Purdue is coming off three straight games against ranked opponents, which included wins over No. 22 Illinois and No. 2 Ohio State.
Abbey Ellis has finished in double figures in five of her last six games, averaging 16.7 points per game during the stretch. Ellis has moved up to second on the team in scoring with 11.8 points per game and sits second in the Big ten with an 88.9% clip at the line.
• With wins at Northwestern, No. 22 Illinois and No. 2 Ohio State, the Boilermakers are riding a three-game road winning streak for the first time since 2017-18. Purdue has held opponents to 57 points per game, 37.8% shooting and 23.3% from distance in those games.
• Fifth-year Lasha Petree will make her only trip to Rutgers after playing for the Scarlet Knights during the 2021-22 season. Graduating last spring with a degree in marketing, Petree averaged 8.3 points per game with 26 starts last season.
• With 173 boards and 147 helpers, Jeanae Terry joined Caitlin Clark as the only players from the Big Ten to lead their teams in rebounds and assists. Terry sits 10th in the nation in assists per game at 6.7 and ninth in total dimes.
• Ellis started the week ranked 19th in free throw percentage at 88.9%, which sits second in the Big Ten.
• Following 13 points against No. 4 Indiana, Lasha Petree needs 41 points to join the 2,000-point club for her career.
Cassidy Hardin sits ninth in program history with 134 games played, six short of Danielle Campbell's (2006-09) record of 140.
