WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The eyes of the NFL were on Purdue Football alums Tuesday, as nine Boilermakers participated in the team's annual Pro Day. Thirty NFL teams arrived in West Lafayette to see which Boilermakers could be a good fit for them to choose in next month's NFL Draft.
The following Boilermakers participated in the day's events: Jaylan Alexander, Jackson Anthrop, David Bell, Zander Horvath, George Karlaftis, Greg Long, Dedrick Mackey, DaMarcus Mitchell and Tyler Witt.
While Bell and Karlaftis participated in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis earlier this month, Tuesday's Pro Day gave the two First Team All-Americans and the seven other Boilermakers the opportunity to showcase their skills on their home turf.
The majority of the events took place inside the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. However, the Boilermakers braved freezing temperatures, featuring a wind chill of 21 degrees, to run the 40-yard dash.
