WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – We are almost halfway through the NFL regular season, and there are a number of Boilermakers making a big impact across the league. Fourteen Purdue alumni are currently on NFL rosters, with 10 seeing action in week eight.
Markus Bailey – LB - Cincinnati Bengals
Played 22 snaps on defense and special teams, making one tackle against the Browns.
Derrick Barnes – LB – Detroit Lions
Tallied four tackles (three solo) and appeared in 30 snaps for the Lions against the Dolphins.
Ja'Whaun Bentley – LB - New England Patriots
Started and appeared in 44 snaps during the Patriots' 22-17 win over the Jets. Recorded three combined tackles and secured one interception at the end of the first half.
David Bell – WR – Cleveland Browns
Made two catches for 27 yards while also adding a tackle on eight special teams snaps in the Browns win over the Bengals on Monday night.
Played 73 snaps as a starter, contributing to the Cowboys' 49-29 resounding win over the Bears.
Brycen Hopkins - TE - Los Angeles Rams
Played 11 snaps for the Rams in their game against the 49ers.
Zander Horvath – FB - Los Angeles Chargers
Didn't play due to the Chargers' bye week.
George Karlaftis – DE- Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs were also had their bye this week.
Dennis Kelly – OT – Indianapolis Colts
As a starter for the Colts, played all 58 offensive snaps in the tight game against the Commanders.
DaMarcus Mitchell – DE - New England Patriots
Played 21 snaps for special teams to help the Patriots defeat the Jets 22-17.
Rondale Moore – WR – Arizona Cardinals
Put together a monster performance for the Cardinals, hauling in seven passes for 92 yards, recording two rushing attempts for 12 yards, and playing 99% of offensive snaps. His 38-yard touchdown run at the end of the third quarter was the longest play of the game.
Raheem Mostert – RB - Miami Dolphins
Started for the Dolphins and played 46 snaps to help them defeat the Lions 31-27. Had 14 rushing attempts for 64 yards and hauled in one pass for three yards.
