WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – With classes underway for the new semester and school year, Purdue baseball is excited to welcome a group of 19 newcomers into the program in preparation for the 2023 season in the spring.

The Boilermakers are slated to begin their fall practice calendar in September. A full schedule of open scrimmages, exhibition games and the annual Black & Gold Series will be announced in the coming weeks.

"We're thrilled to have our newest class of Boilermakers join us at Alexander as the new school year begins," head coach Greg Goff said. "As our recruiting coordinator, Terry Rooney led the way in identifying players that can have an impact for us and succeeded in attracting them from all across the county. He's worked tirelessly in that lead role since joining the program last summer. Together Chris Marx, Terry and our staff brought this class to campus and we're excited about how these Boilermakers can be a driving force in propelling our team to new heights. I'm ready to get back on the field this fall and take the next step in building off our program-record 15-0 start and other successes from the spring."
