WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – After one of the most productive seasons by a guard in program history, Jeanae Terry announced via her social media channels that she will return to West Lafayette. Terry initially put her name into the transfer portal in March but elected to return to Purdue after a series of conversations with head coach Katie Gearlds.
Terry's first season in West Lafayette saw the Detroit native net an All-Big Ten honorable mention nod and etch her name into the Purdue record book.
Terry became the first player in Purdue history to record two triple-doubles in a single season and a career, achieving the feat against Miami and Minnesota at Mackey Arena.
Finishing with 183 assists and 223 rebounds, she became just the third player in program history to lead the team in both categories in a single season, joining Stephanie White and Carol Emanuel. Her assist tally ranked second in single-season history at Purdue and smashed the mark for most by a player in her junior season.
Terry's late-game heroics also put Purdue in the win column twice with game-winning layups as the clock expired against Georgia Tech and Rutgers at home.
