CHICAGO – In its penultimate indoor meet before the conference and national championships, the Purdue track & field team returns to Chicago to face a highly competitive field at the Windy City Invitational from February 11-12 at the Track & Field Center at Gately Park.
The meet begins on Friday with field events at 1 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. CT, and the Boilermakers' first running event is at 5 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. CT. Purdue's final event on the opening day starts at 7:35 p.m. ET / 6:35 p.m. CT. On Saturday, action commences with running events at noon ET / 11 a.m. CT and field events at 12:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 p.m. CT. The meet concludes with the women's and men's 4x400 relays, scheduled to start at 4:41 p.m. ET / 3:41 p.m. CT.

The Windy City Invitational field features host-Wisconsin, Arizona, Illinois, Howard, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Tulsa and USF. Twenty-five men and 23 women will compete for the Old Gold and Black at the two-day meet.
This weekend marks Purdue's second trip to Chicago this season and the new Track & Field Center at Gately Park. In one of the first meets at the venue, the Boilermakers competed at the Wisconsin Midwest Invite on January 15.
IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Four Boilermakers appear in the week two national TFRI top-25 rankings, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Fifth-year senior Tamar Greene is No. 11 and freshman Praise Aniamaka is No. 16 in the triple jump, senior Isaiah Martin is No. 21 in the heptathlon and senior Jessica Bray is No. 25 in the pole vault.
In the #EventSquad rankings, the men are No. 1 nationally in the triple jump with the help of Greene and Aniamaka's top-15 individual rankings. The Boilermakers also are No. 10 in the 5,000m and No. 18 in the long jump. The Purdue women check in at No. 16 in the pole vault and No. 23 in the 60m.
LAST TIME OUT: MEYO INVITATIONAL
Fifth-year senior Kelly Cook Jr. moved up in the school record books once again as Purdue competed at the Meyo Invite from February 4-5 at Notre Dame. Cook Jr. moved up to N. 7 in program history in the weight throw with a mark of 20.50m as he placed third in the event. Sophomore Caleb Williams added a win in the 3,000m as five Boilermakers had PRs and four notched top-five finishes.

EARLIER THIS YEAR IN THE SECOND CITY
Three Boilermakers won events and another two earned top-10 marks in program history on January 15 at the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational in Chicago. Competing against five other Big Ten teams, Bray (pole vault), fifth-year senior Curt Eckstein (3,000) and sophomore LJ Hill (long jump) all earned victories, and a pair of sprinters, senior Antonio Mitchell II and junior Kerris Roberts, posted top-10 times in the Purdue record books in the 60-meter dash.
