WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue men's tennis team will open its 2022 home slate against the Chicago State Cougars and the IUPUI Jaguars this weekend in the Schwartz Tennis Center. The doubleheader against the Jaguars will start at 3 p.m. and follow with a 6 p.m. match against the Cougars.
All matches at the Schwartz Tennis Center are open to the public. Masks are required in all on-campus buildings in accordance with Protect Purdue policies. Live stats and streaming will be available for both matches.

NOTES
• The Cougars are 1-3 on the season with a win against Marquette.
• The Boilermakers have an 8-0 winning streak against IUPUI. All matches were played in West Lafayette with the last one being the Purdue Fall Invite.
• The Jaguars are 0-2 on the season against Michigan State and Northwestern.
• Purdue will be playing in the Schwartz Center for the first time after starting their season with four road matches.
• The Boilermakers will look to have its first two wins of the season this weekend.
• Freshman Gabriele Brancatelli improved to 3-1 in singles last weekend putting him to 9-8 overall on the season.
• The pair of freshman Piotr Galus and junior Michael Wozniak started off the season 3-0 in doubles, improving to 8-2 for their overall record.
• Chicago State Cougars will face Eastern Illinois on Friday before meeting the Boilermakers.
• Prior to facing Purdue, IUPUI will begin the weekend by meeting Dayton on Friday and Chicago State on Sunday.
