WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women's tennis team will open the 2022 dual campaign Sunday with a doubleheader at the Schwartz Tennis Center. The Boilermakers will start the campaign hosting Cincinnati at 10 a.m. and IUPUI at 3 p.m.
Head coach Laura Glitz enters her 15th season at the helm in West Lafayette as the winningest coach in program history with a solid roster of tested veterans and experienced newcomers. Junior Csilla Fodor cracked into the ITA rankings at No. 111 in singles after a 13-2 record during the fall.
All matches at the Schwartz Tennis Center are open to the public. Masks are required in all on-campus buildings in accordance with Protect Purdue policies. Live stats and streaming will be available for both matches.

• The Boilermakers and Jaguars have only met once before in 2017, when Purdue swept the first matchup 7-0.

• The freshman trio of Juana Larranaga, Tara Milic and Carmen Gallardo Guevara won 24 singles matches during the fall slate.

• Seira Shimizu enters her fifth spring campaign at Purdue with 44 singles victories and 29 wins in doubles.
• Cincinnati finished 2021 with a 6-10 mark. Freshman Elizabeth Pendergast vaulted into the ITA Rankings during the fall, checking in at No. 121.
• IUPUI went 2-12 last season. The Jaguars enter 2022 with an experience-laden roster entirely made up of juniors, seniors and fifth-years.
