WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women's basketball team will ring in 2022 on Sunday with a 2 p.m. tilt against Rutgers at Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers will return to Big Ten Conference play and hit the floor for their first game in since Dec. 21.

The Boilermakers closed out the non-conference slate with an 86-53 win over North Alabama prior to the holiday break. Brooke Moore paced Purdue with 17 points, while Rickie Woltman recorded her first career double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Boilermakers dished out a season-high 26 assists and won the rebounding battle by 19.
