EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Purdue men's tennis team opens the Big Ten Indoor Championships this weekend at Michigan State. The Boilermakers are competing in the annual conference showdown for the first time since 2018.
The Boilermakers have been off since the Louisville Invite in mid-October, when Sebastian Welch took the singles title of the third flight and Tomasz Dudek took runner-up honors in the second.
The freshman class of Gabriele Brancatelli, Julen Morgan and Rohan Sachdev have a combined record of 17-7 in singles action this fall, with Sachdev holding a team-best 7-2 mark.
Purdue will open the Big Ten Indoor Championship with doubles play Thursday night. Friday will see the doubles third round and first two rounds of singles, before just two rounds of singles on Saturday. Sunday will see the doubles championship and the final two rounds of singles play.
