WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue men's and women's basketball begin competition in Mackey Arena in one month, and one of the best home court advantages in college basketball will soon return to full effect.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue men's and women's basketball begin competition in Mackey Arena in one month, and one of the best home court advantages in college basketball will soon return to full effect.
 
Single-game tickets and mini-plan options for both basketball programs will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 12, to members of the John Purdue Club. On Thursday, Oct. 14, mini-plans for women's Basketball go on sale to the general public. All sales for both single-game tickets and mini-plans are open to the general public beginning on Friday, Oct. 15.
 
Ahead of the Men's Basketball home-opening exhibition game vs. Indianapolis (Thursday, Nov. 4), fans and the general public are reminded that current Protect Purdue protocols require facial coverings for indoor settings, and this includes Purdue men's and women's Basketball contests.


Additionally, this year's men's and women's basketball Fan Day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16, at Mackey Arena. Stay tuned for further information.

Head Coach Matt Painter's squad opens its regular-season on Tuesday, Nov. 9, against Bellarmine and will host 18 total games this winter. The Boilermakers return all five starters from last season's team and are consistently ranked among the top-10 teams in the early preseason polls.
 
The 2021-22 season for Purdue women's basketball will feature the beginning of the Katie Gearlds Era. The former Boiler All-American takes the reins of her alma mater and will have returning starters Brooke Moore and Big Ten All-Freshman honoree Madison Layden lead a talented roster of veterans and newcomers. The Boilermakers open their 16-game regular season home slate Sunday, Nov. 14, against Western Michigan. Gearlds' squad warms up in Mackey Arena with an exhibition contest vs. Findlay on Sunday, Nov. 7.
