"I am very pleased to have Bree Bennett join us here at Purdue University," Elliott said. "She has a lot of experience and knowledge for being supervisor of operations, so I look forward to a good relationship with her, and I look forward to her managing the program."

"Purdue University, as well as the Big Ten Conference, exhibits excellence in academics and athletics," Bennett said. "I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this great staff under the leadership of Coach Elliott. Boiler Up, Hammer Down and Hail Purdue, let's get to work!"

Bennett comes to Purdue from Mississippi State, where she served as the track & field program's director of operations since 2019. Bennett also collaborated with academic counselors to develop academic success plans for student-athletes.

Bennett was the hurdles and relays coach and academic advisor at Maynard Jackson High School in Atlanta from 2015-18. Her role included educating student-athletes on NCAA eligibility guidelines and monitoring the academic progress for varsity and junior varsity sports.
