WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Nine Purdue track & field student-athletes have been recognized with a combined 11 All-America accolades, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.

Junior Tamar Greene and sophomore Isaiah Martin were named Second Team All-Americans in the triple jump and decathlon, respectively. Honorable Mention All-America recognition was bestowed to the Boilermakers' men's 4x100 relay of Greene, senior Samson Colebrooke, sophomore Justin Becker and freshman Marcellus Moore, the women's 4x400 relay featuring freshmen K'Ja Talley and Cierra Williams, senior Samara Miller and freshman Saran Kouyeth and Colebrooke in the 200-meter dash.

The All-America honors come after the Boilermakers competed at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, last week. Greene, Martin and Moore are recognized as All-Americans for the second time in 2021, along with accolades earned indoors, and Kouyeth, Miller, Talley and Williams earned the distinction for the first time in their careers.

Martin led Purdue with a 10th-place finish in the decathlon, with 7,542 points. He is named an All-American for the fourth time in his career, along with 2021 and 2020 indoors and 2019 outdoors. Martin also was 10th earlier this year in the heptathlon and in 2019 in the decathlon, while he qualified in the heptathlon for the 2020 indoor meet which was not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Greene was 13th in the triple jump, with a mark of 15.85 meters, to earn second team accolades. Along with his 4x100 relay award, the pair of All-America honors gives him five in his career. Earlier this year indoors, Greene was seventh in the triple jump and named to the first team. Outdoors in 2019, he helped the 4x100 relay to a seventh-place finish and was 19th in the triple jump to be named to both the first team and honorable mention squads.

In the 4x100, Purdue was 19th in 39.68, as Greene, Colebrooke, Becker and Moore were named Honorable Mention All-Americans. Becker is recognized for the second time in his career, after he collected first team accolades in 2019 outdoors in the 4x100 relay. Moore also is a two-time honoree, both coming in 2021, as he placed sixth in the 60-meter final indoors to earn First Team All-America honors.

Colebrooke, who also was 22nd in the 200 in 21.01, was named an Honorable Mention All-American twice, and concludes his Boilermaker career as a six-time All-America winner. In 2019, he was named to the first team in the 4x100 and the second team in the 200 and 4x400, while he was recognized as an All-American indoors in 2020 in the 200.

Purdue's 4x400 all earned their first career All-America accolades, as Talley, Williams, Miller and Kouyeth raced at their first NCAA Championships. The foursome finished 20th overall in 3:38.50 to collect honorable mention distinction.
