WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A pair of meets are on deck for the Purdue track & field team this weekend, as the Boilermakers will compete at the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, and at the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 4 in Bloomington, Indiana.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A pair of meets are on deck for the Purdue track & field team this weekend, as the Boilermakers will compete at the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, and at the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 4 in Bloomington, Indiana.
 
The Jesse Owens Invitational begins on Friday, April 30, with the first of eight events at 2 p.m. ET. Saturday's action at OSU's Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, which features 17 events for the Boilermakers, commences at 11 a.m. Twenty-three women and 14 men will compete for Purdue in Columbus.
 
The distance runners race at the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 4, with two women and two men in three events on Friday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, five men and one woman run in the 1,500 at 7:35 p.m., at IU's Robert C. Haugh Track & Field Complex

TOP-25 BOILERMAKERS
In the latest USTFCCCA national rankings, the Boilermaker men are No. 5 in the Big Ten and the women are No. 9. In the Event Squad Rankings, the men are No. 6 nationally in the 200 and No. 10 in the 100, while the women are 13th in the high jump.
 
Individually, junior Jalil Brewer is No. 10 in the shot put thanks to a winning throw of 19.70 meters on April 2, and sophomore Isaiah Martin is No. 11 in the decathlon after he scored 7,576 points on April 16, which ranks No. 2 in school history. Junior Tamar Greene is 18th in the triple jump with a wind-aided mark of 16.00 meters, earned on April 2. Freshman Marcellus Moore is No. 19 in the 100 and 200, with times of 10.25 (w) and 20.55, respectively, both set on April 2. Senior Samson Colebrooke is ranked No. 22 in the 100 with a time of 10.27 (w), also recorded on April 2.
 
Additionally, the men's 4x100 relay team of Colebrooke, senior Malcolm Dotson, sophomore Justin Becker and Moore is No. 15 with a time of 39.57 set on March 26.
 
LAST TIME OUT: FIGHTING ILLINI BIG TEN RELAYS
Purdue tallied seven top-three finishes and earned 15 personal-best marks at the Fighting Illini Big Ten Relays from April 23-24 in Champaign, Illinois. Freshman Vinajah Adderley won her first collegiate event with career-record jump of 11.66 meters in the open triple jump. Sophomore Camille Christopher recorded two top-five finishes, with a silver medal in the 200 and a fifth-place showing in the 100. Moore also was second in the 200, and freshman Ian Shaw was the runner-up in the 5,000 as he set a PR by more than 21 seconds. Senior Jaden Mattox and sophomore Ife Oketona also placed second in the women's and men's open long jump.

The Boilermakers conclude the regular season with a return trip to Bloomington, Indiana, for the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 5. The meet is slated for Saturday, May 8
