WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Matt Haarms had a big sophomore season, helping Purdue win its 24th Big Ten Championship and reach the Elite Eight. Haarms averaged 9.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game while shooting 63.2 percent from the field and 69.5 percent from the free throw line. He became the first player since Ohio State standout Greg Oden (2007) to lead the league in field goal percentage and blocked shots.
